Classic Country Elegance
This historically important farm is located just outside Lexington. It has been home to SIX generations of the same family and was also the site of a revolutionary war fort. Over the years, the main home has been added onto thoughtfully to grow with the size and needs of the family within. Dreading the thought of leaving as they started to age, we worked with our clients and their architect, to design a seamless one-story addition that allows them to “age in place”.
From the outside, it is hard to tell where the original home ends and the new structure begins. But inside, we opened up spaces and flooded rooms with natural light. Classic interior details were included as were clean-lined, no-fuss furnishings.
The result is classic, functional country elegance.
