Multi-Family Estate
This Glen Arbor residence overlooks Lake Michigan's Sleeping Bear Bay and is home to a family of five. After summering in rentals near friends for nearly 25 years, they were quick to purchase a lot when it finally became available. They hired us to work in close collaboration with their home builder and architect to dream up the ultimate compound for multiple families to enjoy together.
Alongside their team, we drafted a floor plan with a perfect mix of open, social, and private spaces. In addition to the kitchen, living room, and dining area, we designed a sleeping porch, library, media room, 5 ensuite master bedrooms (one with a bunk for a family with children), 8 bathrooms, and a dedicated bunk room that sleeps 16. Every space has a view of the outdoors, be it trees or the lake. Bliss.
