Sophisticated and Comfortable
After relocating from the city to Glenview's suburbs, this family of four - which includes a noteworthy Chicago architect - entrusted us with the design of their new, custom home.
Inspired by their rescue pup's brindle coat, we created a subtle yet textured color palette of vanilla and pewter. We wove together metallic back-painted backsplash tile in the kitchen, metallic cork wallpaper in the living room, a custom 4-foot entry chandelier,
marble mosaic floors, and other architectural touches that make this home sophisticated and classic.
We were also sure to incorporate spaces for every family member, like the music room, home office, garden area, and a fun media and pool room. Despite appearances, every inch of this space is comfortable, livable, and designed to endure. Adults, kids, and pets are welcome!
