Equestrian Estate
This classic, historically inspired home was recently completed on what was once a 50- acre horse farm outside Lexington, Kentucky. Fitting, as it was built and designed for, a young family passionate about horses.
The wife is a veterinarian, and the husband- a respected player in the global Thoroughbred racing community.
Connecting with family and entertaining friends are their love languages. This new build needed to accommodate their young family and two herding dogs but also function for a crowd.
The challenge was to design it to be relaxed and durable, yet elegant and spacious.
From start to finish, the project took 18 months.
The “dream” team (client named) consisted of the clients, the builder- Kevin Crouse of Artisan Custom Homes, and Schnabel Interiors. It will forever be one of our most-treasured experiences.
